does anyone know where you can buy peep sights for rimfires maybe something with dovetail fittings that you can put on yourself or even ones that you need to take to a smith any online site that sells these would be very app:dancingbanana: :runaway: reciated

There are a couple of types of Williams sights that mount on dovetails. I'll get the model # from my notes. I've got several in my parts box.
Some of the Canadian mailorder places carry them. I've seen them in the guns stores.
The old Browning T-bolt peep sight fits on dovetails and is usually on Ebay.

Most of the target aperture tights mount on dovetails. Usually best to find them at gun shows or ask in gun stores. New they are too much money.

Found my notes.
There is a target style aperture made by Gamo that is a reasonable price, around $60.
The same sight badged as Crosman:

The same sight badged as Daisy:

Then there are the Williams sights.
The FP-GR

and the FP-AG

The WGR 54 would probably fit

It has to slide on from the end of the dovetail.
They might require a higher front sight.

And the Beeman rebadged Williams sight.

10/22 peep sights

I've read great things about these at 22rimfire, I'll probably try them after I recover from recent purchases here. They look easy to install, and don't have the low front sight issue Williams are supposed to have when trying to use stock front blade.

cheers,
