Peep sights?

Skinner and Ranger Point precision make them, mostly for lever actions. I have a Skinner and it's good, and have never heard anything bad about them. They ship to Canada. I have other parts from Ranger Point and they're well made. Last I checked they don't ship to Canada, but I think Wolverine Supplies carries some of their stuff.

Yes, Their is going to be a difference between a pram mounted on a CG vs a peep sight mounted on a savage 99? I guess it's the fineness of the opening, on a hunting rifle you're going to want fairly quick target acquisition.
 
The pic you show looks to be a barrel mounted sight, either front or rear. Not really my idea of a peep sight, which sits on the receiver bridge. Williams makes model specific peeps that use the scope base holes, you can get apertures of different sizes, or simply remove the aperture entirely for a ghost ring effect.

Ok. Yes, WIlliams does make some good peep sights! The one I posted though, I wanted to use since I like how it looks with the wings protecting the peep, looks a bit different..

If I can find one that mounts, like you say one the bridge with the wings I'd get that!

Dude - Go on the NECG website and do some digging. I'm sure you can get what you're looking for for about 100 USD plus shipping, customs fees, and HST.

That's where I found the peep sight.

Looking closer at the description, it seems that peep is a 2 part deal.

Wonder If I could take the upper peep and use it seperately? Might not be able too though, since it looks to be a dovetail setup.
