Peep sights

I've 2 Mossberg's trainers, a tube unit with full wood and a bubba'd clip fed with a peep. Ross trainer and M10 have peeps ( M10 has an excellent peep ).
Got an 82...no peep though.
Israel trainer is in the mail...no peep.
Goals going forward is get more peeps for the Trainers
I have had a few peep sights, all of my 45 70 levers had peeps, at the moment I have a Ruger Gunsite scout with the XS rail with sight, I have a Husqvarna 1900 with a Williams WGRNS FN sight that unfortunately is discontinued now, and a Weatherby Vanguard in 416 Ruger with a repurposed Gunsite scout sight.

Made one like that back in the day out of a leupold std base drilled and tapped for a sling stud and a small o ring on the stem, was adjustable for wind age and elevation.
I really enjoy shooting with receiver sights and as I age they have become even more valuable to me. I prefer older Lymans and Redfields but the Williams have also worked perfectly for hunting. For some rifles where a receiver peep isn’t a viable option, I plan to try the Marbles Bullseye rear sight (‘73 ans ‘76 rifles) and I have started to transition my front sights to fiber ones. I have never developed a fondness for tang mounted peeps. I have nothing against scopes and use them lots but I really enjoy carrying and shooting older lever actions with peeps. I recently located a Central No 4 target sight and proper base for the No 4 Enfield. They are awesome sights but the correct bases are super challenging to find for the No 4 Enfield. Looking forward to reaching out this summer with the .303 using that target peep. Shoot what you enjoy and enjoy what you shoot.
Alright peep sight experts, I have a peep sight question and, without wishing to highjack this thread, this seems like the crowd that might be able to answer my question. I have a have a couple BSA Hunter/Imperial featherweights (the CRF/BESA muzzle brake model) which seems to be a model pretty well known to the CGN community. I would like to outfit one with a peep sight and I know I could make a CZ550 aftermarket peep sight work on the dovetail with a little grinder/file work (on the sight not the receiver) but I prefer the factory look. The rear left side of the receiver is drilled and taped presumably for a peep sight a' la Husqvarna 1600 design. Who can tell me what make and model of peep sight is suppose to attach here?

^ I can not help on that particular model of rifle, but be forewarned that several rifles that I have and have seen have had cutout or whittling done on stock to accommodate those side mounted aperture sights - not all of them clear the wood - either the base or sometimes just for the sliding tongue to the sight.

Sorry I can't help you with regard to the sight you need but I welcome any and all peep sight related questions and posts so please, hijack all you want

Potashminer, I did have the thought about needing to inlet the stock. If that needed to be done, I would just do the grinder work on the recoil lug of a NECG CZ peep site, but I was hoping there might be a BSA or Parker Hale peep that would go on without too much trouble. My suspicion is that a Redfield or Lyman for a Model 70 would screw on but would probably need stock inletting for the slide.
Lightweight rifles from yesteryear really do it for me and I like these BSA rifles probably more than I like Brno M21/22, but I have had a number of Brnos and they all shot well, the gun in the picture shoots extremely well but my other BSA is useable but not impressing anyone. Unfortunately, I actually like the balance and carrying the poor shooter more (short action). Where I live in the sticks its easy to limit shot distance to match the accuracy (or lack of) but if I am going that route, I may as well ditch the scope and rings for a peep and I will be running a sub 6 lbs gun and the balance should shift forward a bit (by losing the pound of optics) which would be my preference. I suspect the solution is to march around a gun show or two with a set of calibers and piece paper with the BSA's measurements hunting peepsights.
