Hello,

Need some help regarding choosing a hard case...i currently have a remington 700 and i ordered an AR15 (daniel defense). i just want one case to transport both. Would it be easier in terms of fitting the Rem and Ar with either the Pelican or Storm?

Thanks a million

Apart from the handles and latches they are identical. Both made by the same company
In my opinion the latches and handles are nicer on the Storm cases than what is offered on the Pelican brand

I have the Storm case and love it, it is very secure and the latches are very nice. You have to depress the center of the latch in order to unlatch the case. Much less of a chance of the latch opening mistakenly.

What size (long) is your rifle? Do you have optics on your ar? Just find out the inner dimensions of the case and lay it out on your floor with string, see if you can fit both in there together.

I have a pelican and love it. But it is very heavey with my rifle in there, it almost takes two men and a small boy to carry it. I have no issues with the latches on it, I can't see them getting un latched by themselves

I have two Storm cases. They seal very well against the elements, six latches, one on each end and four across the opening. They are heavy but the wheels on one end make it easy to drag across an even surface.
Biggest draw back is weight, however, the reason to buy a Storm is to protect a very expensive firearm and scope while travelling.
