Pellet Alloy

Here's a question that there may be no definite answer to? What is the hardness (as related to pure lead) and the alloy composition of your general hardware store brand of pellet?

This question actually has a legal and sensible purpose for asking related to another branch of the shooting sports but I thought my best chance for an answer was on this forum.

Different pellet manufacturers use their own recipes I would imagine. Crosman contain more alloy than most and their lead pellets are the hardest I've seen.
