I cleaned out some pigeons from a guys greenhouse a few years ago with a .410 it didn't even put a hole in the plastic.

I use a .410 for the bulk of my shooting I will not give my 5/16oz smokeless load but here's one I used in the past a 2" .410 hull(a cut down one or a .303 case formed into a .410 shell a full 2 1/2" can be used but more wading is needed) card wads nitro/fiber/overshot card 5/16oz of #9-#12 shot and 20-25gr(using a black powder measure) of fffg BP works well and the small shot dose not have much energy so even if you miss it will not go though the sheet metal roof of a tractor barn. like I said I worked up a smokeless load and I tent to use mostly #12 shot a jug of that last me for ever
