Pellet pistol

If it's under 500 fps yes no problem.....................otherwise it's restricted and you might as well grab a .44 mag while you're at it...................Harold
 
I don't think it's as simple as that. They might try to hassle you. If anything, have some kind of printout or maybe the manual that states the airgun velocity.
 
Pellet guns are not firearms in the US and under 500fps are not in Canada.Did all the leg work last summer.Phoned BATF,zealots at Homeland Security and the Canadian Border guys.As well as the importing firearms to Canada lady as I was going to bring back a RWS Panther or RWS 48 if the price was right .But it wasn't so I didn't..........Harold... flintlocks same story
 
Consider the possibility that some ignorant person at customs will decide that this is a "replica" firearm (some of them look extremely realistic, especially the ones made by Umarex)....
 
Proper training is the cure for stupidity.If all else fails have the clod look it up on the internet.It should list fps etc.......................the Canadian side isn't the problem.....Harold
 
A big thing to consider is weather you can get that pistol or not in the states. I crossed over to Michigan and asked about them at dunhams sports, they actually dont have access to most types that resemble firearms in michigan. so you may not be able to find what you want . As for if your going to NY i dont know what its like there.
