Pellets for Stoeger

I have the same gun. The crossman work fine in mine. The gun will get more accurate the more you fire it. I also use the Gamo PBA when I require a little more hitting power such as when picking off crows or squirel hunting.

As far as crossman go try the hollow point as well and if you want cheap try daisy hollow point or the flat head. I tried crossman pointed and found they were less accurate than hollow points and daisy pointed were very poor. If you can find any sampler packs get them. Keep trying a new brand when ever you get the chance, RWS are good but more expensive and you will find that more expensive are usually better.

RWS super H point. 6.9 grains and in the x10 stay under the speed of sound. NO sonic crack. .5 inch groups at 15 yards no rest. And with good shot placment, awsome on pigeon sized birds.

You need to go buy a coupl etins of cheap pellets and plink at some pop cans for abotu 500 shots. THEN go buy a tin of as many pellets as you can find, and see which ones shoot.

Airguns are like real guns. Just because one .308 likes 44 grains of BL-C(2) doesn't mean another will. Just the same, you could have 2 stoeger x10s, and one like crosman pointed, and the other likes predator polymags. I have a Crosman phantom with a modded piston and shimmed spring, and believe it or not, it shoots the best with the CHEAP daisy "hollowpoints".
