PEM Scope Install Tips and Zeroing

Hello,

I have recently acquired all I need for a PEM side mount build. I am hoping to talk to the local gunsmith next week.

That being said, does anyone have any tips for mounting a side mount? And how would zeroing an original PEM scope work?

I heard the gross sighting in includes shimming or fitting the scope base to bring the windage in the ballpark. Is this for a 91/30?

Hey. Yes it is. The older side mount doesnt have any elevation adjustments. I am wondering how the plate that attaches to the reciever would be alligned horizontally.
