Pemberton hunters.... the deer need your help!!! calling all predator hunters

The Internet me would have loved to be there with my XCR and 10 rounders, wearing my gear, maybe some Ozzy background tunes.
The real me just shyt his pants, and ran....

Glad you're safe, and a good shot.

How many rounds did you have on you?

No captain brad I'm "pretty sure" I killed 2 and my buddy and his 30-06 got the third. The rest of your comments I'm going to ignore.
I've taken 27 big game animals with my 303's over the years. And more with my other rifles. I've shot at and not killed one wolf in all my years of hunting. This experience is not a "yay look at me" I went wolf hunting and got 3 with my 303!
I do a lot of shooting, I'm retired with a quad and 1800 plus acres out back to play in every day. I can credit hits on those animals to practice.
Anyhow, this thread was meant as a heads up to hunters and pine/chantrel mushroom pickers who frequent that area. And a call to predator hunters who might want to go after them.
I've also got friends on this site who hunt there, often solo.

Anyhow, that's it.

Trying to find a North Creek near Pemberton. Is that a local name.....
It`s not on Google earth.

I'll pm you the details when I get home later this week. I'm 6 hours from home , at a friend's in the lowermainland. One of the pemberton CGN'ers called me today and I may take the long way home and hit my spot again in pemberton thursday.
Anyhow, if yer headin up the east side of the lillooet valley past the hurley turn off , keep an eye out ;)

Lol... First of all, I have no wolves here and had a desire to hunt an alpha predator and that's why I went on guided hunts... Are you saying anyone that goes on such hunts is a lesser hunter?

Second of all, you claim to have "killed" 3 wolves yet have no pics to prove, no recoveries etc... Yet apparently you all used cartridges that woukd typically be reserved for big game...

Third of all, you come in here with some story that supposedly raised the hair on your neck yet you took the time to write it out and make sure you left your "readers" hanging at every turn...

Oh, sorry. Have to eat supper, tell you more later...m.

Whatever

I can find North Creek on my copy of the topo map on my iPhone. Its a free map app with free topo maps. There's basically a North Creek and a South Creek, that are actual creeks. The area is called North Creek up the mountain. If you take the Liliooet FSR, past the Hurley, its (I think) the 3rd turn-off to the right. I've walked that area solo and once with my young daughter. This is a good wakeup call to be more vigilant.

???????. Your point?.

Super. Would it be accurate to say, that you personally have yet to experience a serious threat while in the bush?.

45. How 'bout those lee enfields?. :)
Cool head. Good shooting.
Thanks for posting.

I think I found it, and it's right in the middle of three sightings, one of which was made by me 5 years ago, so it's very credible.
On Google Earth, or the map, does it got straight off the main, forming a triangle with the creek about 200M per side?

Creek heads 90 degree from road, up the mountain and 'y's ay the top
