What is the scoop on Pentax riflescopes?

I don't hear much about them, are they top quality or is Pentax better at cameras...?

The Lightseekers seem priced up with Leupold.....what's the deal?

Is anyone familiar with Pentax Riflescopes?

Stay away!I have one that died on top of a .308 on the first range trip.The reticle turned about 20 degrees.I can't get anyone to take it for warranty work.Pentax Canada says they don't handle scopes and Pentax USA says it has to be dealt with in Canada.I ordered it somewhere in the US if i remember correctly.

I thought they were made by Burris..could be wrong....
