Percussion double identity

I recently acquired a double barrel percussion shotgun. It has no markings anywhere except on the inside of the lock plate. The gun is in nice shape but its been sanded and polished but i wanted a shooter. There is DF stamped and an M along with a letter I cannot identify. In addition a odd symbol that reminds me of a pin wheel.

Any proof marks on the barrels? The initials are probably those of the men who worked on the lock.
Do the ramrod pipes have a little rim at each end? You see this on Belgian guns, not on English ones.

I'm fairly certain your gun is a Belgian made gun. But, despite no maker's name, there should be proof marks somewhere unless they are hard to read or were sanded/polished away.

Yes they do. It was my guess it was Belgian.
