I found these in the U.S. and spoke with Farmboy about bringing these in, They are made by VOODOO Tactical, exact copy of the old chinese AK chest rigs. Same quality as the SKS Chest rig he sells. These have wide straps, all quick release buckles And steel D rings. Each cell is rubber/vinyl lined and has drain holes.

they can fit 2 AK mags I think, but Single for vz, But most likely can fit 2 if wet, then stretched the way they used to stretch the russian lifchiks to accomodate the thicker ak47 mags as opposed to the thinner ak74 mags.

Support Canadian business and buy the MoFOCR rig from CPGEAR.

I got one for my buddy to go with his VZ-58. Each pouch fits 2xVZ mags and the whole rig is MOLLE.

Why I suggested it is because many guys here cant afford high end rigs specially if they are not using it for work, Besides CPGEAR is not a CGN dealer :D

200+ bucks for a civi-setup before pouches? Thats rough for a VZ system unless you are planning to go to the box and switch out your pouches.

I think your in good hands with farmboy.

I just have had good dealings with Mark Wheeler and was posted to Gagetown in 06 when he was developing the prototype based on the Brit vests.
 
The Chinese pouches had wooden stick like buttons and were canvas, but these are better. I use a similar rigging for ARs. They hold 6 30/5s and 4 20/5s (or 10s). As for two 58 mags, I just checked with a similar product and two fit in barely with the flap closing minimally. At least the buckle is adjustable.
 
By far the best rig I've seen for Vz mags is the eagle industries 6 mag AK rig. The mags are firmly held with the flaps open or closed with one mag or two in the pouch and the price is very good.
 
Im not sure how much Farmboy will sell for but he is usually on par and matches U.S. prices on everything Ive bought from him, I paid about the same for these as I paid for the voodoo SKS rigs farmboy sells. Expect to pay around $30 to $40 plus shipping which in my opinion are pretty good for my needs.
 
Will this work for AR15 mags by chance? I been toying with the idea of a chest rig for some time now....especially I shoot some CQB stuff at Borden next year.
 
i would like some vz mag pouches for my 82' pattern CF webbing (with the attachments for the yoke on the top of the pouch) i have a few c7/fn mag pouches that could be butchered for the plastic parts and buckles i just need to find a person that is good at sewing and likes to do it for almost free.
