Well its been three or four years now since Remington put this abandoned cartridge on life support by introducing the 673 guide guns so chambered. And of course Ruger has been doing the same for a couple years in model 77 mk11s. :)

I'm thinking there's probably quite a few board members out there that have one of the above. I'd be interested to hear what kind of real world performance you're getting out of your reloads or new factory ammo in this day and age. ??

Don't own one, but would guess it got the shaft cause it was a bit redundant. A heavy hitting close to medium range monster. For someone hunting the right terrain , and game, it sure would be a winner. You got one?

In round figures my results,
250s at 2600
225s at 2700
200s at 2800
See the details here - http://35cal.com/loading.html#77

Incidentally that's green masking tape on my 350RemMag above. This gun is being rechambered to 350WSM as we speak.
I have a good friend with a Rem M673/350RemMag that makes 2700 with Grand Slam 250s and its subMOA repeatably with the load - pretty awesome.

I am on my second Ruger in 350RM (this latest one is in stainless) and I love it. I reload 225gr and 200gr loads - no chrony, but the loads are very accurate. Two deer so far - no moose yet (not for lack of trying ) but I am confident it will perform well.

Salty, if you want to try it out, I will be at the Mission range on Saturday.

Cheers!

James

I really appreciate the offer stanway but unfortunately that's a 4 hr plus drive to Nanaimo then the boat ride, plus the city traffic... :runaway:

You'll have to report how it goes here :p
