Period correct scope for Marlin 39a mid 70's

Looking for a scope for a Marlin 39a. I would like an older gloss black, good quality scope with a small ocular lens. About a 4x power or possibly a variable power. Like an older weaver K3 for example. Any ideas or does anyone have one for sale?

I have many Japan built Tasco from the 70's, on rifles from the day. The old Tasco were a good scope and can be had for under a 100 bucks on EE, worth every penny IMO.

These are the best...I have one with the NOS Redfield rings just sitting. They also made them with Browning label which are also quite nice. I have that on a Win M61. Both are excellent choice if you are willing to pay a bit more for one.
