Period correct scope

I have a Winchester 490 that I am thinking about putting a scope on, but I think I might want to go with one that is from the same timeframe as the rifle... What would be a good scope from that period, it was made during the mid-70's, that is a 1" tube?

I like the Weaver K4 & K6 series scopes, they are good quality, and can be found most times well under $50.00.

The 490 is an accurate 22. Put a nice leupold on it

Weaver, Bushnell, Redfield, Leupold.....all made fine scopes for 'back in the day' period correctness

The little Redfield 4x with the 3/4" tube would be the most "period correct" rimfire specific scope. A little hard to find and pricey when you do though.
