Bit of an impulsive buy on my end. Anybody know much of these? I know they rarely go for sale. Not sure what kind of valuation is realistic with minimal price history available.IMG_1697.jpegIMG_1699.jpegIMG_1701.jpegIMG_1712.jpegIMG_1695.jpegIMG_1696.jpeg

As stated above, they don't show up very often.

I was lucky when I found this one from a guy in Alberta somewhere, together with a beautiful Peruvian Mauser.
The Guy sent me both rifles, with their bayonets, in a big homemade box, lined with countless old sweaters and underwear, :)
The Bayonet is numbers matching, besides a few dents the gun is like new.

The last Pictures are from the Peruvian.

I love those long Mausers :)

Matching bolt which is good. All other serials match? British proofs which may hurt value for some purist collectors. They are hard to find though.
I don’t see any others serials. Rifle is en route to me. Will get a closer look. What kind of valuation range is realistic on these?

Beautiful!!! That’s as good as it gets. Very nice mausers

Cool rifle!

Valuation wise, a large part of the value you will see for Persian Mausers is due to the condition (like say the Brazilian Mausers). Many were sold off in new condition. I couldn’t accurately say as to what it is worth at the moment, to me a used one like yours is likely in the 800$ range but I could also be out to lunch. Minty ones I could easily see in the 1600-2.5k range.
