Pet hunting loads?

.270 Win - 56.0 gr IMR4831, WW brass WLR primer, Sierra 130 gr BTSP
.30-06 - 57.0 gr IMR4350, WW brass, WLR primer, 165 gr bullet
7mm-08 - 44.0 gr IMR 4064, WW brass, WLR primer, 140 gr Sierra BTSP
.257 Wby - Retumbo powder (over book max), Hornady brass CCI LR mag primer, 115 Berger VLD bullet

Its hard to pick favorites, since what shoots in one rifle may suck in another. Still, I have loads that shoot consistently well in many rifles.

A few of those are:

.300 Win, 80 grains of H1000 and any 180 you feel like trying. I used to drop one grain and swap in a 190 Berger and shoot F-Class with it too.

.270 Win, 59-60 grains of H4831 and your choice of 130s. It works so often its boring.

30-06, 50.5 grains of Varget and a 165. that has been a culling and bullet testing load for me. It doesn't seem to matter what bullet or what rifle it will routinely shoot interchangeably in any of several 30-06s I use. That's sort of handy.

.257 Weatherby, 68 grains of IMR 4831 and either a 100 grain Ballistic Tip or a 100 grain TSX. Never met a .257 'Bee that wouldn't shoot that.

.338 Edge, 91-92 grains of H1000 and a 300 grain SMK. I know a lot of guys shooting the Edge and for awhile we all were using the same load.

3006 150gr Nosler partion imr 4064 for everything bigger than coyotes.
222 40gr hornady Vmax imr 4198 for everything smaller than coyotes.
308 175 Lapua Varget for long range paper punching

25/06 117 gr interlock 52 gr imr 4831 3150 fps
Same gun 75 gr Vmax 49 gr varget 3550 fps
Same point of impact at 100 yards for these.

458 wm 72 gr H4895 405 gr Remington flat nose 2350 fps. First load I tried 5 shots same ragged hole at 50 yards. 100 yards groups open a bit but my scope has a center dot instead of cross hairs which covers the bullseye.

These are my current favorite guns for hunting.

.270 55gr IMR4350 140 Hornady btsp
7rm 64 gr imr 4831 160 gr noslereither partition or accubond
300RUM 95 gr retumbo & 200 gr accubond

Those are the ones I remember of the top of my head because that's all i use in those rifles
