Pet loads for 308

What are your pet loads for 308 using 168 gr. slugs? To date, my most accurate is 49.0 gr. H380, CCI LR Primer and Win brass. I got some good grouping with BL(C)2, but I'm told it's very temperature sensitive. Im shooting a Remmy 700 SPS Varmint.

45.7 gr. of W748 with SMK's, AMAX's or Berger VLD's.
Shooting a 700 SPS tactical.

I have now switched to 175 SMK.

My Rem 700P liked 44 gr of IMR 4064 with 168gr Sierra Match Kings.
Now Im shooting a Savage F/TR using 45.5 gr of VARGET and 168 gr Berger VLD.

My TRG really likes 44.6 Varget pushing a 175gr SMK HPBT. COAL 2.848

The standard .308 powders are varied, but for 155-185 bullets, Varget, H4895, VV N150, R15, will all do very well.

On the advice of Rick from ATR I worked up a load with IMR 4064 (42.5gr is the sweet spot for my rifle) with a Sierra 168Gr HPBTand guess what... he was right!

Hornady Amax 155, 47.0gr Varget, Lapua brass, CCI BR-2 primers.

My food of choice is, 155 gr. Serria's of the Palma breed. With 45.8 grs. of Varget to send it on its way. Lighting it with some fedral match pimers stuck in some Lapua cases. This sends the little guy on its way at, 2901 fps average of 10 rounds. Out with a 24 inch tube with a .334 neck, trued into a Remington 700. This I would work up to if you would like to try. It is a little hot but that is what the gun told me to shoot. If you know what I mean??

That's basically a Federal Gold 168 smk clone. I plan on using this as well for my 5R, which shoots the Federal Gold very well.
