Petawawa Gun Club Presents Sharpshooter 2015 Sept 26,27

To get the thread back on track (about the match, not the caliber restriction, sorry I kind of started that), the video and photos on the Facebook page make it look like last year was a lot of fun.

I am going ! Gonna book it as holiday! As for caliber restrictions suck it up buttercups! I am going to wear a black IPSC shirt with patches dont talk to me before each relay as I will be getting in the zone. Sean the Mexican will be my rifle caddy if theres any running he will piggy back me mexican style through the relay shirtless I however will keep my IPSC shirt on so as not to drive the ladies wild with my pecks and six pack;)

I don't give the caliber restrictions a moments thought. I certainly don't consider the hosts "idiots". You can't organize any shooting competition without several people complaining that the rules don't suit them. - I say that from personal experience, and it always seems to be the people who haven't hosted an event in their life. This is an opportunity for them to take the leadership and initiative to do just that, but those types are always "too busy".

Good job for the Petawawa Gun Club putting the effort into this.

Well said Andy! Last years shoot was a blast! It was my first formal competition and I will be going again this year too. The organizers do a great job and the caliber restrictions are not their idea, they are just the messenger.

6 pack??? More like a keg. I got my wheel barrow ready to move you around the range if your electric scooter dies at Walmart again. ;-)
 
Can't wait until this years shoot. Last year was my 1st real competition, hopefully I will shoot just as good or better than last year...those damn bugs!

Great prize table, great people, and a great day at the range....what's not to like about it.

Maybe a PRS type station, know-your-limit steel plate stage???

Hey Shooter, Sorry about that. For some reason I've been getting emails sent to my junk folder. Registration will be open in due time. I'm just finallizing some of the logicstics first.
