I was at the Canadian Tire in Yorkton on the weekend and noticed they had boxes of Peters .22lr on sale for $1.73 for a box of 50. So I bought 34 boxes of it! Cheapest I have seen .22 in a long time. But any who I was wondering how many people have used them and how well they performed. Thanks.:D

Being able to sling low cost ammo is one thing that may make a gun good.

There is a lot better ammo around for not a lot more cost. I will gladly pay the $7/100 mini mags over shooting that really cheap stuff. Had lots blow up and shoot crap into my face as well as other people, accuracy was junk with the really cheap stuff as well. After all If you can hit what you are shooting at without unloading a magazine on it is it really that cheap?

So you've tried this stuff then?

Historically, I haven't had much luck with Remington ammo. I didn't realize that this stuff was of Remington until I followed the link. I do like taking different ammo for testdrives, and will certainly give this a go.

Nope I haven't nor will I either. The best ammo I have found for plinking is mini mags. Other then that target ammo shot small groups. No need to buy cheap junk. All the other cheap ammo I have tried doesn't shoot worth a damn anyway.

cool!

I love testing different ammo! Cheaper is better for me, and I've had a hoot touching off all manner of it. I hate to sound too "off", but at 2$'s a box (50), a nifty package, and the possibility it's not a thunderbolt in disguise; I'll be actively scouting for it now.

I also can't deny CCI stuff a place in the home!

Flawless through the sr22. Feels awesome. Velocity is like 1200 or 1270. Reliable and worlds better than winchester, thunders..

We will see how it groups as i get more time.

Always wear shooting glasses.. S.O.P.
