Peters 28 Gauge Ammunition

[28 gauge 2]

Well I received an old box of Peters 2 7/8 inch 28 gauge blue paper ammunition this past week.Cool old box and shells.Peters 28 gauge ammunition is all but impossible to find in Canada,so I had to get this box from south of the border.Bought it in February and it just got here last week.

Still looking for some 28 gauge Peters hunting loads with the see through blue plastic hulls.

I shot my share of Peters 28 gauge as a kid... both paper and plastic. It was all old stock, and the current stuff at the time was the Remington Express translucent green plastic rounds... now I haven't seen any of those in decades.

Where in God's name did you get all that 28 gauge Peters ammunition in Canada BGB? Have located a box of Peters 28 gauge with the translucent blue plastic that I covet . Bought it,but it will probably six months before I get it in hand from the U.S.

Still looking for more 28 gauge Peters ammunition ,if any one has any they want to part with.

It was my grandfather's. He had a fair stash of assorted old 28 gauge rounds, and I shot 'em all! That would have been 45 years ago and they were old back then

It makes one wonder, just what other old 28 gauge rounds your Grandfather had, that you shot off?

No idea, really... I didn't pay too much attention. Typical MO was to grab a handful of assorted shells and head into the woods or down to the shore. They all went bang! That was ~45 years ago at this point, so details are scarce.
