Petrified Wood Flint For A Flintlock?

I've been using 3/4" black English flints from Track Of The Wolf in my .54 Lyman Deerstalker with great sucess. However, in replacing a flint recently I remembered reading something on here about a gent that once posted that he had petrified wood flints for use in flintlocks. If any know who this is, please let me know. I'm really interested in trying some other types of 'flint' in my flintlock (not agate though).

There are two types of petrified wood one being agatized and I'm sure that is what the fellow was using.
