I was the lucky winner of the PGW Defense Technology Inc. Coyote barrel, action, etc. at the Western Canada F Class Championships in Nokomis Sask. at the end of June. PGW completed the build as pictured below. Thanks Ross and Steve for your support of the competition.

Here is what it looks like today. I will be using it for mid range competition (300-600 yards) in the US this winter. The scope is a Sightron 10-50.

Here is what it shot today after a little trial and error with loads. Five shot grouping. I'll take .253 MOA at 200 yards anytime (I may have contributed to the vertical). Bullets are 185 Berger LRBT (now called Juggernaut), I don't have any experience with the VLDs and will probably not be changing.

I don't think anything more needs to be said "or typed".

Congrats on the win and excellent shooting. I have two Coyotes and both are healthily sub half-MOA and I think that's pretty much the experience of all who own these very fine rifles.

Prairieguy suggested I go with it and I am not sorry at all. The adjustable cheek piece is great and they left enough of a flat spot so placement and alignment on the rear shooting bag is easily done. The pistol grip and trigger distance are excellent. The only thing I may change on this rifle for competition is replacement of the trigger to a 1.5 to 4 oz I already have on hand for competition. The trigger as supplied is excellent but the change will match the long range rifle I presently use in matches.

how do you like that stock?
nice shooting BTW.

They are a beautiful piece of kit. I love the big maple leaf on the action. They use a good barrel too, so there is no reason that gun doesn't have the potential to be a real hummer. Nice shooting and have fun. Spread the word about our fantastic Canadian gun builder and their support of shooting sports.
