PGW Coyote feedback

Like my Coyote in the A5 stock. Heavy critter, but I'm at 30" of barrel and three way adjustable butt. When I tried the chassis version it took some learning. 5 shots makes <1 MOA easily with either and I know the problem's the operator. Wasn't sure about a rear bag for the chassis version but it worked off a bench.
I bought a .260 Rem. Coyote folder in Sept. and have been extremely happy with it. They are well made/machined and built like a tank.
If you opt for the folding version, the stock lock up is the tightest and most solid I have found.My Cadex folding chassis isn't even close to locking up as tight......even after adjusting the locking mechanism.
On my last range outing my last 300 yard 5 shot group measured 0.902" off of a LRA bipod with a rear bag.
When I am doing things right it is a 1/2 MOA rifle or better.

My Coyote in 65CM is spectacularly accurate. Half MOA if you do your job and apply proper marksmanship fundamentals. PGW is an outstanding company run by good people. They get my highest recommendation. Call Ross and discuss your build with him. You will not be sorry.
I know of a couple folks who have run Coyotes at matches and they seem to do the trick. Off the top of my head two are in 6.5 Creedmoor and the other was either a 260 or 260AI.
The only complaint I heard was that the magazines are a bit short but I don't know if the guy was loading stuff really long or not.

tomochan has the most reasonably priced coyote you will find in the EE if it is not sold
buy it NOW and upgrade if you think it needs an upgrade later next near if I did not have too many 308's it would be in the safe already

Wowza! You are correct. That is a killer price. Considering his ask is not much more than a new Tikka Tac A1.
You could but it and rebarrel for less than $4,500...ish.
Yes I did see tomochans on EE. I think I would prefer the A5 over the chassis but I'm planning to go visit Ross and handle a few rifles and see what I like best.

Would look into the magazine size for the chassis model. The mag that came with mine for an A5 stock had a spacer up front, so it's likely their own model comes with mags for SAAMI spec cartridges. Keep in mind these were built for the military in mind, so they're designed around those dimensions.
Price wise you can't beat them, much cheaper than the competitors.

I have both a Coyote and a custom build by Insite Arms.
Both wonderful.
The Insite Arms will outshoot the Coyote.
I feel I got lucky with that particular rifle, but IA does great work.
Really, you can hardly go wrong with either.
Edit: I shoot off a bench; the A5 stock is much superior for that.

See picture below for details. My turnaround time was relatively quick, as I went with a barreled action they had put together for someone else.
You would need to discuss it with them.
One more thing. I sold my Coyote folder and bought a Coyote with an A5 stock. I will post a picture underneath of the first 2 groups
it (the Coyote) shot at 100 yards. Pretty damn good.

Well, used Coyotes come up regularly on the EE.
I suspect you will have a long wait at Insite, depending on what you want.
I do have the highest regard for Insite, not only because they built an absolutely great rifle for me,
but based on the opinions of highly respected CGNers, like Tomochan, for one.
I'm definitely going to be thinking this one through very hard. I have read a handful of Tomochan's reviews and I highly respect his opinion. I know he is a big fan of Insite...which is why I'm torn. I'm bouncing back and forth between the two. It seems like either one is a fantastic option just personal preference... decisions decisions.
