hi does any have PGW Coyote in a different cailber other 308 ?
i am looking at getting one but i want to use it for hunting and maybe a
little paper punching haha any opinons!
Coyote is 308, Timberwolf is 338 Lapua as far as I know. They are originally military spec tactical arms so they don't sell them in your 30-06, WSM, etc.
Sure - ask them. Basically it's a beefed up Remmy 700 action with some improvements. They can chamber other than military or sell you the action to take to your favorite smith.
When I compared a Coyote to some other rifles recently, Ross from PGW commented that other calibres are available but time to delivery may be a little longer while 7.62 is a stocked item.
Gotta say that (just like what I read from other owners ) I am impressed with accuracy but she be a heavy piece of gear for a hunting rig
thanks for the reply i know its going to be heavy hunting rig! i am thinking maybe
300wsm,7wsm i dont know! waht kind of killing range does a 308 have! on deer i know it shot placement but i what it to have accuracy!
Yes, the Coyote could be made in .243, .260, 6.5x47....you get the idea... .308 case size. We don't stock barrels in anything other than .308 so you will have to wait till we get the different tube.
If you want, message me. I can forward you Ross Spagurd's emails and he will take care of you. Just bought a Folding stock timerwolf from him. Greatest customer support i've ever received from a manufacturer. Top notch.
I went thought the same thoughts about something different than 308 Win. After some talking with Ross and evaluating my needs I stuck with 308. Best decision I could have made. Love my Coyote and Timberwolf.
