PGW coyote

We make the actions in house along with all of the other pieces. We buy the contoured barrel blank.

Thanks for the the clarification, but I'm starting g to feel like you fellas are dodging the question. Do you still sell actions to people looking to do custom builds or is that all over now that you are building for the Canadian military? You used to sell actions to the civilian market if I'm not mistaken.

Is PGW still selling actions separate of thier complete rifles? I emailed Ross and recieved no response back from him. I am curious if they are still servicing the custom build market or if it is just the Coyote / Timberwolf now.

At the last gun show I attended with a CF presence, there was a Timberwolf there that I commented on, but the CF fella working the booth said it was a McMillian action. I assume that PGW is making all thier own actions in house. Can anyone confirm this? Are any of the parts for the action outsourced?
I used to get work done at PGW, but that was quite a while ago, I don't know if they still take outside work or sell parts.
I got to know Ross a little bit even before PGW when he worked behind the counter at Farmer's Supply here in Winnipeg.
I can say any dealings I had with him at Farmer's Supply or PGW was always a good experience and I always felt he was honest and sincere.

Dodging? Yes we sell actions. What is over since we started building for the CF?? We finished that job in 2007.......

Thanks Steve. I have been trying to get pricing for just the actions. Ross emailed me just the rifle price list in a response to my request. I replied requesting the action pricing a second time and have received no response. I wasn't sure if you were still selling standalone actions or not. Can you PM me the price list for your actions and available configurations? Ie short, long, repeater, single shot, br, etc? Thanks

I've just finished reading all 23 pages of this thread (so far!) Very interesting stuff, particularly as I took my CF Sniper Course back in the 70's when we had the original C3. Now that was a rifle with flaws. We fired the C3 out to 1000 yards which was very much a challenge. I envy the current crop of Canadian Army Snipers the quality of equipment that are issued. Things have certainly come a long, long way in the last 3 or 4 decades!
I wish that a PGW rifle was in the budget but unfortunately my Vancouver mortgage still has a few years to run. :(

The flaw was always the optic...never the rifle. We have S and B's on them now and you can ding 900m pretty easily.

Finally got the coin back up to get a PGW Coyote...emailed Ross. NONE in stock. And somewhere between 4-6+mos to wait. Grrrr.

Anybody have a McMillan coyote they want to sell? haha worth a chance.

This may not be a bad thing. If you have to wait a few months anyway you can get it done how you want it, perhaps in .260 rem or a different color.

I would love to commission a T-wolf in 7 mag with Mc Millan stock......but the wife would kill me.

I just caved. Appreciated some great options from some members but just went for it and ordered what I wanted w Ross.

Now I twiddle my thumbs and hope that some miracle happens and I get it in April.
