PGW coyote

I think I just messed my shorts  I've dreamed of owning a LH Coyote, but didn't think one would/did ever exist. If you ever feel the need to part with it you will have to look no further than here;) I know, I'm.....:onCrack:

Sorry, prairieguy's wife has already called dibs on that one!! Back in the day, the Timberwolf and Coyote were made on manual equipment, so I spent the extra time to make one in LH for myself being a lefty. I've never done a CNC program to make it a mass produced item as there are quite a few things that need to be reversed. It is further unique as it has a Titanium bolt, and the McMillan stock I received when I won the 2002 BCRA Precision shoot at Volkes range.

What trigers are used in the Coyotes?

700 compatible triggers. They have varied over the years.

What clip on NV is this?

I have the PGW Coyote folder and this is the best of what is out there in my option. Have tried the Cadex, AI, XLR etc and think that this is the top pick to get. Just wish the older folders had one extra set of holes drilled for moving the NV rail back a notch. The new shorter scopes can use a bit more rail closer to the scope. Will try grab a picture of this :D

Edit - wish for an extra 2 sets of holes as they have this very nicely set up for adjustments... Don't have anything available for the third bolts in the NV rail as it sits right now.

and a #### shot as it sit now. Still want better optics...

Icedragon nice to see the Bushnell on your rig. Same scope I have on my Coyote.

Thanks, Found a pic of yours on post 105 of the cold bore challenge- looks great! Can I ask what throw lever you are using? I do like the Bushnell's large zoom ratio of 4.5-30 but hate their long minimum focus length. Would love to put a March 5-40 FFP scope on it the future! ;)

What clip on NV is this?

Have a wander over to Wolverine Supply and check out the NV section ;) Edit- There is one member here that has a NV that I would trade almost anything for;) Hint Hint!

Question, where do you guys shoot with NV? My range closes :30 before sunset and shooting in the woods after-dark would have the boys in black-jump-suits coming to take it away:p

Get an invite out to a cattle ranch that has a coyote problem or find a nice spot way out in nowhere to fully enjoy the target shooting, nothing like pulling the trigger and waiting more than 1 second for the ring of steel in the distance with the 22lrs

icedragonmx, once again you have nice rifles bro ... question ... did you install the picatinny rail underneath where the bipod & laser mount or did PGW? I ask as I'd like a picatinny rail as well as I have a great GG&G bipod I'd rather run than the butler creek one. Thanks for any info/help,

Thanks, The rail pictured underneath is a low profile rail from my XLR chassis. The bolt spacing and hardware is an exact match to the PGW Chassis and can be mounted on the sides too. It is the 5.5" "evolution picatinni rail" pictured here... ht tp://www.xlrindustries.com/chassis-options.html

You are going to enjoy all that PGW goodness that you have! :d

Well, can't blame a guy for trying! Just have to keep on dreaming ,......

I know this may sound like a silly question ... but it really doesn't matter which way the brake is with the securing screws up or down correct??? I tightened mine with them underneath as I used a level to line it up & would check with level at back of chassis and it all lined up but noticed everyone's coyotes has the securing screws on top.

As Toolman has indicated, there is a witness mark on the 'top side' of your muzzle brake (the screw heads on top) for rapid removal and re-installation in the field... however this 2nd generation muzzle brake can be placed in either direction up or down, as long as the brake remains level with the action, some people dont like having the exposed screw heads on top, which to flip it over doesnt change anything... ENJOY OTOKIAK!!!!!! :p:dancingbanana::p

Otokiak if you need a bottom rail for a bipod let me know. We have about 1000 of them sitting here.

I'd love a bottom rail please & thank you. I figured the brake either way wouldn't matter. Thanks Chris & Ross you guys rock!
