Congrats on getting your .50 finally! Must feel great!
I think you made a wise choice going with a single shot.

What scope did you decide upon for it?

Otokiak finally did it.

I remember way back when you were first getting those nasty thoughts in your brain of what caliber you wanted, a .308, .338, or a 50. :D

Congrats on the rifle, can't wait to see more photos and videos.

Whatcha gonna shoot with that beautiful piece of kit? And why single shot?

I dont know his reason for single shot, but when there is no opening at the bottom of the action for a magazine, the action has gained some rigidity over a typical magazined action.

Nice looking rig!

Great rifle! It's ironic, isn't it? A desert pattern cammo stock for a guy who lives in the Arctic? :p

I don't believe all of that rigidity bull####. I'd want to hear an accomplished engineers take on that before I'd atribute a mag well opening adding to accuracy loss.

As for going through less ammo, maybe a little but if he's reloading he's going to have his rounds down to about $3 a piece. Most importantly, he's happy with his purchase. The gun looks good.

And that's a perfect camo colour for up north since pretty much all of the animals up there don't see in colour and at the distance he'll be smoke'n them at, forget even seeing him let alone the gun. LOL
