They are also sold as complete rifles. And depending on the caliber will be prohibited. And since the HTI is chambered in 375 CT Wildcat all the way to 50 BMG they are all prohibited.

I understand complete rifles, but there is nothing preventing you from buying the chassis and putting on a barrel that is chambered in something under 10k joules.
However, the action/chassis is named, not the Caliber kit that you purchased separately which is not a regulated component requiring a firearms licence to purchase.

This is actually complete bull#### because it then sets the precedent that every model listed is a "variant" of a prohibited version.
Like Runkle of the Bailey said it's like banning a version of a car that was modified to be not street legal. Every car could have that happen, this law was written by either malicious people or incompetent ones.

Pretty sure it’s the opposite, no more interest in government contracts and scaled back to smaller jobs and service is my understanding.

Now... If we take this context and this new introduction of the terms into Canadian law... The "Capable Of" issue which it seems no one really seems to be losing their #### over it except me...
Are you capable of assault or homicide? Should we not authorize surveillance or allow warrantless searches based on this capacity?
Are you capable of ###ual assault? Should you be registered as a ### offender ? The only thing stopping you is electrical signals bouncing around your brain. That seems a whole lot less complex than changing a barrel.
Introducing 'capable of' in law is a terrifying proposition. Just look to modern history to see what humanity has demonstrated they are 'capable of'.

Ignore for now, there will be a change of government coming possibly as soon as the Spring. It is becoming apparent to even the lowest of the low information voters things are an absolute disaster in the country and getting incrementally worse. Singh is looking for a way to bail, he knows hanging on to the Turd is poison.
The problem is, weak people create hard times and I don't think the majority of people are done looking to elect those that are weak in exchange for handouts. We have very near sighted voters because many are on the verge of losing everything because of their own inability to plan for a rainy day.
