PGW Timberwolf- WOW!!!

I load @ 10 thou off the lands.
With the results I got I figure so much for load development.Consistantly Under .5 MOA with a 300gr bullet Is good to me.:D

I jam mine into the lands (and chase it back as it recedes).
I found I was limited a bit by the thick reticle in my S&B scope.
Is your reticle fine enough for shooting groups?
The US optics I saw was pretty thick too.
 
The USO retical is in the first Focal plane and beefs up as the power is increased so no its not really a good scope to be used for shooting groups at long ranges.
 
What are you getting for velocity and how long is the bbl? Have you used any other powders? I've tried H50BMG and US869 and they both work well but I chose US869 based on the crono data.

Are you asking me?

I have a TRG in which I have tried N-165, IMR 7828, H-50 BMG, Reloader 22 and MRP. Loved the MRP and N-165. Haven`t shot a PWG although I held one for a while last week. Had to be wrestled back out of my hands.
 
Need more information; velocity, barrel length and bullet choice. I'm trying to head around this whole 338L thing. The more information I can get. The better I can understand the caliber.

I shoot a 338L Timberwolf.

250gr Lapua Scenar naked bullets, 94.2 gr H1000.


Hit 6" clays at 758 yds. 90%.

Haven't tried pass the 800 yds yet.

Catwork, man that's one #####in' rig! Have it out yet? Love the stock colours too. Did you specify the mix or was it just a case of that's what they built - that's what they sent.

I still never shot it yet I wanted the same spec as the one they do for the forces.

Dude, for all of us who have "#####" envy of you - take some video when you shoot this monster and upload it on YouTube for us to see. Could you do that?
