PGW Timbewolf pros and cons? looking for opinions

The only downside is the price but if you can afford one get one. My buddy has one and I've never heard him say anything negative about it. Shoots great, looks great.
In my opinion the only downside is the overall length but that's only compared to my Desert Tactical SRS in 338L.

Post pics when you get it.

Agree with you on PGW, although many won't have seen their work from the early 90's -2000's to now. they have come a long way but still have a ways to go. They can make things work but the tolerances are NOT what I like to see in a rifle, concentricity it my pet peeve, and with PGW you just don't see perfection.

Agree

For what it's worth, I looked at and shot the following;
TRG, Blaser, AX, HS Precision, Desert Tactical, Custom built (which I own), PGW T-Wolf, in my quest to find "THE" rifle for me.
These are all great rifles and for the most part obtainable in a reasonable amount of time.
I went with a PGW Coyote (to afford higher volume shooting) and haven't looked back.....except at my bank account wondering when it will be big enough to add the T-Wolf.
To each their own, but I'm very pleased with the PGW and you get a level of customer service that you will be hard pressed to get from a retailer.

Had one. Excellent accuracy. Didn't like the hard cam over extraction. High depreciation when you sell it. As mentioned if you have the money, go for it.

If you want Canadian, then they are likely the best out there. Two rifles that are better are the Sako TRG and FN Ballista. I say that as they offer better accuracy among a wider range of conditions and ammo. Once you dial in a PGW they can keep up with their favorite load. If you only shoot factory loads, then they fall behind.

I think only the action and brake are Canadian, Krieger barrel, McMillan stock, Rifle Basix trigger all made in the US of A, but still a great product made with top of the line materials.

in a cadex chasis, so its essentially a massed produced custom, which again work great within a very narrow limitation of ammo. and if that is what a guy wants PGW's are excellent.

for others being able to buy any ammo and have is shot to the same point of impact, or reasonably close, then the SAKO TRG and FN Ballista, cannot be beat.

IIRC, the Coyote and Timberwolf folding chassis are made in house by PGWDTI..............I believe the LRT-3 has an option for the Cadex chassis........

Almost all of the shooters I know who are looking at these types of higher end rifles reload and custom tailor a load for their rifles..........
