The weather was fantastic at the Homeland range on Saterday.
Robert invited me too attend the 400 & 800 m shoot, and he allowed me too run off 2 sets at both distances.
Everyone took in the course rules for the day, we teamed up,,, then we stated our day at the "Butt."
Then we got our chance to test drive the beasts at distance. LOL
A little bit of changing winds,,, and mirages were drifting back and forth as we played the game of staying on target.
Robert has one nice rifle as it is a dream too handle.
He layed down some nice tracks too keep the folks at the "Butt" busy.

This was the first time I've ever taken this on as I'm more about the iron silhouette stuff, but this category is well worth checking out as the folks are awesome too chat with.
The target looks huge up close, but when the winds are drifting and the mirages set in, it makes for some interesting shots.
My factory silhouette rifle would never cut the cheese in this class.
Thx too Robert it allowed me too place 3rd on the day in the F- FTR Class.

I'm hooked, but I need a unit that can multi task at normal plinking, iron silhouette, and hopefully the Stock F Class Category.
Remmy 30/06 Long Range as I'm waiting too find out what area this unit fits into.
My plan is too get up to speed in this category if the good folks in F will allow a middle age fellow too take a run at this.
My long time friend C Ganter from the out-door world helped me along with my own skills way back when in the Full Bore category.
He retired form completion now days as he practices predator control, he's had good suckes hitting barred-wire fences where the coyotes hide. LOL.
Big thanks too all the folks that were at the Saterday shoot, and too Robert for letting me in on the good times.
Two young fellows from our area were out there that day as well,,, they did real good as I have lots too learn my self.
