So it's official.

We have the Kamloops range secured to be able to hold the 2018 Western F-Class Championships. YAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

Dates will be Thursday June 28 - Sunday July 1, 2018

PRA and DCRA Memberships are Mandatory so please make sure you have your up to date PRA/DCRA Card/s as they will be checked. If we can not verify your DCRA Membership you will not be shooting.

DCRA membership is $55 and can be paid with your entry (see form)

Maximum number of shooters will be capped at 54

Sight in day will be the afternoon of Thursday June 28th (Max 10 rounds on Target). This will not be a practice, sight in only. Once you are on the target and confirmed, you are done. :)

Individual Course of Fire:
Thursday June 28th
09:00 - 15:00 hrs Range set up, competitor registration and rifle inspection/weigh-in
13:00 - 15:00 hrs Open range sight-in at 900yds, 10 rounds maximum

Friday June 29th
08:00 hrs Safety Briefing (mandatory for all competitors)
08:30 hrs 1 minute blow-off for each relay (shots not indicated)
2+15 at first 900yd individual event
10:45 hrs 2+15 at second 900yd individual event
13:00 hrs 2+15 at third 900yd individual event
15:15 hrs 2+15 at 900yd team event

Saturday June 30th
08:00 hrs Safety Briefing (mandatory for all competitors)

2+15 at first 900yd individual event
10:45 hrs 2+15 at second 900yd individual event

08:30 hrs 2+20 at first 900yd individual event
10:45 hrs 2+20 at second 900yd individual event
13:00 hrs 2+20 at 900yd team event
14:30 hrs Prizes & Awards (Day 3 & Aggregates)

Awards: The following awards will be made for both F-O and F-TR:

• Grand Aggregate winners will have their names engraved on brass plaques attached to the Farquharson Trophy
• DCRA medals for Grand Aggregate (1st, 2nd & 3rd )
• Daily Aggregate (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
• Team winners will have their names engraved on brass plaques attached to the Dolhun Trophy
• Team Aggregate (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
• 19 & Under Grand Aggregate (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
• 19 & Under Daily Aggregate (1st, & 2nd)

Team Match Course of Fire:
Team Match will commence at the end of each day after Individuals
Teams will consist of 2 F-Open and 2 F-TR. Teams may be allowed to have up to 5 people (1 Coach + 4 Shooters) Tentative on number of entrants from each discipline. More details will come as we receive entries.
2 Sighters + 15 for Score for each shooter Fri and Sat
2 sighters + 20 for score on Sunday

Rounds Required:

Individuals - 146 rounds including sighters (does not include blow off rounds or rounds for sight in day)
Individuals + Team Events - 202 rounds including sighters (does not include blow off rounds or rounds for sight in day)

Match will be shot all at 900 Yds. If you haven't shot Kamloops before, we have seen many 3's at 300M and a few more at 500M so this is not going to be an easy Match if the wind gods co-operate.

There will be a catered dinner included for all entrants with extra tickets available for purchase for spouses, family. Dinner might be at the range or at another venue in town.

There will be limited dry camping spots available. Number of spaces is yet to be determined but will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please make note on your entry if you require a camping space.

Are spectators allowed? I would love to check out something like this, but have neither the experience nor the equipment to compete.

Ive been guiding Bighorn sheep hunters since we got back from the World Championship. Just seen your post so that's great news, might have to come out and shoot a couple times to get to know the range.

Won't help. I've been shooting this range for years and still can't figure it out.....LOL

You are still welcomed to come out and shoot regardless. ;)
