PGWDTI Coyote

Considering some of the Timberwolf/Coyote competitors like Blaser LRS/Tactical 2 [...] don't offer LH either

AHEM

I own a RH model and I wouldn't call it a Coyote competitor - I'd say it's somewhat too delicate in construction to be subjected to a military-grade pounding, even thought the Aussie army disagrees. More cops use it though, in Europe as far as I've read about.

End hijack ;)

Did you ever get the 300 rounds of Lapua 167 grain? I want to know what kind of powder they use in this round, and if anyone else has shot it.

Been itching to load some new .308, and hear lots about Varget powder, anyone have any experience with it?

Just got my ammo today. Ended up sitting in Yellowknife for 3 weeks for some stupid reason. I'm not sure what they use for powder in this round, I'd be curious to know myself. I will try it out tomorrow night and let you know how it shoots.

One of my buddys that I shoot with has one of each.
I shot the coyote last weekend, it shoots nice.
Alot better to shoot than the TRGs he used to have.

Great looking rifles (and they better be for that kind of money) but and having never fired one I can`t say much about how they shoot. However I`d be suprised to see it outshoot a TRG 22. How much better can it possibly be...Maybe I`m just splitting hairs here, I don`t mean to ruffle any feathers here, this is purely discussion.

My rifle has a McMillan A-5 stock on it. What do I need to install a rear sling stud? There are no threads in the holes in the rear of the stock but it looks like something goes in there.

Without seeing a picture I would suspect that the stock is fitted with flush cup swivels.

Yes EC I believe you are right. I've never had anything to do with these before and want to attach a sling/monopod to the stock. There must be some kind of piece that I need and don't have but am not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

I'd be appalled if a PGW DIDN'T outshoot a TRG 22. There's a good reason the PGWs cost as much as they do.
