Looking for the pros and cons of each.

Parker Hale .... Pro quality made ,Kal Tool Has Bullet Mould con.. no mounting tang for long range sight. few available for sale.

Pedersoli Gibbs. Pro lots available for sale, has rear tang for sight, very good barrels con junk locks they need work, parts hard to get

Rigby Creedmoor Match Pro better quality lock than Pedersoli, has mounting for tang sight. con very hard to find Navy Arms or Ardesa

If Pedersoli made better locks it would be a great rifle or if other lock companies would make a replacement lock would be a good idea.

Looking at past LR muzzleloading match winners a lot were using the Gibbs

I few local shooters here in Manitoba are looking to shoot at the St Charles Range .It would be nice to see these charcoal burners out stretching their legs other than a 200yd range

The Pedersoli guns I've seen close up didn't have amazing locks but they seemed to be pretty serviceable.
Have you checked Track of the Wolf for replacement locks?

Some long range muzzleloader would be great fun.

Though not a real long range gun here is one of my favourite guns a Swiss 1851 Stutzer 41cal made by v vollmer

AFAIK, only Pedersoli now makes a replication of the three-band military match rifle with Whitworth's Patent hexagonal rifling. Nobody makes the two-band variant as used in the WoNA. I haven't seen the Euroarms' version in years.

Once you picked up a GENUINE P-H Whitworth rifle, the rest will be just a passing memory. Look for one with a serial number less than 9000. The lesser, the gooder! All the totally-made in Birmingham Enfield-style replications had a number between 0001 and somewheres around 9000. After that, and up to about 14,000, Parker-Hale barrels were used in increasingly smaller numbers until after that there is nothing in the entire gun that came from Birmingham - it was all Euroarms.

The Rigby and all similar rifles have a splinter fore-end, but the P-H has a full-length stock. And WHEN you get it, instantly change out the nipple for a platinum-lined version - pricey, but in five years time you'll still be grateful you did it.

TOTW has them, but you may luck into one in Canada. If my pal, the Artful Dodger is looking in, I hope he'll make some kind of useful contribution at this point, as he has all three guns you note.

Also, Steve and Joe Polisar down in Albuquerque NM make a beautiful swaged flat-base bullet of around 535gr that shoots like a mad thing over 80gr of FFg. If you need to talk to them and can't find them in Muzzelblasts, give me a PM and I'll pass on the address.
