Phantom short pistons?

purchased a replacement in the past, wondering if they are still available.

As far I know they only make the shorter piston now. To detune it they drill a hole in the end of the piston to bleed off pressure.
I think there is a demand for the longer piston now as they seem to shoot smoother than the short.

The last 1 I just bought at TSC for $89 has a long piston with no bleed hole... you just have to re-cut the groove longer towards the front so that the spring can compress further, and move the hole for the catch. I also shimmed with some pennies and /sleeved the spring inside the piston with some plastic that I cut from a 2L pop bottle so that it compresses 'straighter' and makes less 'metal on metal noise.
