We are pleased to have Earl Green, of Phase Line Green Tactical coming to Rafter 5B Gun Range on June 16 & 17, 2016


2 DAY PISTOL

This course focuses on the development of accuracy and speed during the conduct of various shooting scenarios. Skills development will focus on fluid drawing and target engagement, multiple target engagement, shooting on the move and from various positions as dictated by the environment. This course will be of special value to the competitive shooter who wishes to build on their library of shooting skills.


Required equipment:

Reliable pistol and at least 3 magazines
Holster that covers the trigger guard, sturdy belt and at least 2 magazine pouches
700 rounds of reliable ammunition
Hearing protection, eye protection and a baseball cap
Clothing suitable for inclement weather
Water and snacks
Pen and pad if you wish to take notes (always a good idea).

Is camping available on site for 4 days? Running water? How many spots are you looking to fill?

Camping can be provide on site. But we have no hookups for power or water. There are 2 county campgrounds close by that might meet your needs.

The Lac Bellevue campground is about 3 miles from us. Stoney Lake is about 10 miles.

Registration and numbers are all being handled by PLGT. Anywhere from 8-12 would be nice from our standpoint.

I signed up my daughter and myself. Both of us have taken both courses with Earl before. My family has a cabin about half an hour away where we can camp.

Do you have a map of where the range is located? Starting at 8? Do we need a combination to get into the range or is the gate going to be open? Is there going to be lunch available or should we bring our own? Need any help the night before with set up?

Be there for 0830. I'm coming into town the day before. bbshooter has info re. food etc.

Start time for both days will be 8:30 a.m. We will break for a one hour lunch when appropriate. We recommend that you bring lunch, snacks and plenty of water as we are 12 miles from town.

We will meet in the shop on Saturday morning to finalize all registration details and collect copies of required documents. Please have your PAL ready for review. You will be required to sign our liability waiver.
