Phase Line Green Tactical at Victoria Fish and Game April 26 & 27 - Carbine 2 Day

clobb is absolutely right. Earl (tritium) is the sh!t. He's probably one of the most accessible and extremely proficient instructors available to us. There was a great x-section of shooters who braved the rain to run through several drills. It was definitely an eye-opener to even see myself suck at the end of a long day. Due to works/travel schedules its not easy for me to attend regular skills and drill sessions, so I try my darndest to make these ones and am always surprised at how much I learn each time - I missed him the first few times he was in Vic. In a nutshell - dial it back to fundamentals. And Earl is a cool cat to demonstrate and critique these fundamentals. I know for myself, I need more practise shooting with gloves. It never occurred to me that switching gloves changes my technique...

^^I hate shooting with gloves and try to avoid it at all costs. I don't find gloves make much of a difference when shooting a carbine, but make a huge difference with a pistol, especially at speed.

I also learned, CJ93 is still sh!t ammo. On the other hand I got fast on transitions and emergency reloads. Just for sh!ts and giggles I loaded up a mix of tula, mfs and cj93 randomly. It was always the CJ93 that FTF.
