Phase Line Green Tactical @ PCFGA, Peace River, AB, June 7-11, 2013

Before this gets out of hand:

The good folks from Peace River have been immensely helpful in getting their course and the Fort St. John course off the ground. They have accepted my inquiries, are offering me their homes to stay at and have made me very comfortable about running this course. My respect goes out to them.

Wes has also been awesome with his quick responses, dealing with my inquiries and helping Virginia and me in making this happen.

I see the West is my biggest and best client base and will do everything that I can to support our civilian, law enforcement and military shooters in the west.

Now remember: you good folks have to put up with the crusty-beer drinking- mouthy- ex-cop from Ontario.... 'Nuff said?

PR, FSJ and GP are going to be good courses! I'm guaranteeing it! Many of you folks have a ton of shooting experience and a ton of good courses under your belts which will make me raise my personal bar. Some folks are new or fairly new and they are going to receive my attention to help them to become comfortable with course conduct, formats and their abilities.

I'm looking forward to this trip as a working vacation. You'll all get my time, attention and friendship. So, please treat each other with the respect that you will ALL receive from me.

Well said, buddy.

For those who haven't had a chance to train with Earl, you're in for a treat; certainly nothing to be shy about..!

Looking forward to Earl's Advanced Carbine, in Abbotsford, and Advanced Pistol in Victoria.
Unfortunately, my work load prevented me from making it up for all this "extended time training goodness"; woulda' been great to see some of you guys again..

Cheer guys, and have fun.!!

Before this gets out of hand:

......

No offense, Earl, but I'm a big boy.

I have him next in FSJ..................

Max,
If you're going to throw posts out there with "Peace River types" and "leave you in a good mood", you better put a smiley or two in it. Otherwise, I'll just have to assume you're serious and intended it to sound just like it did.

Hey Steveo is there any firewood close by that needs "disposing" of? If not I have a ton of birch I can toss in the back of the trailer and bring up.

I'll make sure there's lots of pallets to light up. I haven't taken any out yet, I don't want the black powder silhouette guys burning them up this weekend.;) Birch would add a classy touch, though.

One "housekeeping" item for the new-to-class guys: bring your ammo loose in bulk containers, not in the original packaging. That cuts down immensely on the amount of garbage we need to handle and makes reloading faster.

Ammo cans, wood crates, Tupperware boxes, etc, all work great for this.

Edit: for those of you staying in hotels, where have you booked?
