Phase Line Green Pistol Course, 2 Day Victoria Fish & Game: April 25/26

This course focuses on building fundamental skill sets leading to advanced skills. You will work on development of accuracy and speed during the conduct of various shooting scenarios. Skills development will focus on fluid drawing and target engagement, multiple target engagement, shooting on the move and from various positions as dictated by the environment. As always, Earl adapts his course content to the skill sets of his shooters and will adapt content based on the students performance.

Holster that covers the trigger guard, sturdy belt and at least 2 magazine pouches
500 rounds of reliable ammunition

I don't want to speak for Earl but he wanted pistol.

I'm sure if he got enough interest in a Pistol/Carbine (I'm talking 8 people pre-registered) he could make it work or schedule a different date.

Interesting! Are .22 pistols ok to use on this coarse? Not as comfortable on my .45 yet and still undecided on a 9mm. Does the ranges holster coarse have to be completed before attending? I would also be in for a carbine/pistol coarse as well. Cheers.

Yes you can use a 22lr as long as you have a holster and mag pouches for it. The holster course is not needed as you will be under the direct supervision of the instructor.

I signed up :) Thanks for posting. I also wouldn't mind if it's pistol/carbine...that would be my first choice but pistol is always great. Good to work on my 3-gun skills!

As always I'll be down for this depending on rotation. +1 on making it a hybrid

I could use a break from work in April. I don't see the registration on Earls site for any 2015 dates yet though? What is the weather typically like out there in April?

Sorry forgot to answer your other question. It's usually around 12 - 13 degrees or so. Be prepared for rain, but so far we've been very lucky with not much rain on PLG courses.

So what is everyone shooting on this course?

I'll probably use my Girsan, and try to finish the 2000 round challenge (2000 rounds, no cleaning no lube) I'm putting it through on the course. Yes, I'll be bringing an extra gun, just in case. :d
