Hey fellas.

Looking to break into my hunting abilities. I am holding onto this ticket for a wile now and have had no opportunity to hunt any thing.

Would some one in the lower mainland mind taking me under their wing?
I suspect these ( pheasant ptarmigan grouse etc ) would be a good ice breaker and then move on into whitetail and such.
Just looking to gain some experience and hone my hunting skills and ethics with some one.

Posted in the sticky above but no reply yet.

Let me know if some one can help.
Thanks!

It's a tough enough job for those who hunt to find a suitable hunting companion,
the hard way, through trial and error, but on-line, may I say, someone to befriend
in a common interest as hunting may be rather difficult.
I hope you find a few folks.
For starters; for grouse, drive-up east or west Harrison on the off-FSR's, forget Stave Lk.

People always want to start out small, but it doesn;t realy make sense. Though you will find grouse occasionally on roadsides in the bush, wild pheasant hunting is nearly non-existent and you'll only see patarmigan if you hike into alpine.

Bears are abundant and in the right places so are deer (though I haven't found that spot year).
