Phil Robertsons shotgun

Anyone know what the model shotgun Phil Robertson is seen with in the Duck Dynasty show? Just curious.

In the beginning he used an Auto 5 (pre-DD). Then they had an endorsement deal with Benelli. Last year they inked with Mossberg.

I believe that I've seen the Auto 5 on DD.

recently read a review on that Mossberg they are flogging. The gun writer fired 500 rounds of three different types of ammo. He had three misfires. My 391 has shot thousands of rounds, still waiting for the first misfire.

They are flogging a whole line of Mossberg shotguns. Which one was the one that misfired the 3 times?

the article is on GunsAmerica web sight, just search Mossberg 930 review,. states that there were three misfires due to light hits on primers

I've never seen a Mossberg on te show but I'm sure in the duck commander DVDs they will be shooting them now. I've seen lots of different guns. Watch when they were dove hunting etc. Not sure if the endorsement even falls upon A&E tv.

Even I'd totally ditch the Tundra for a Prius if the trunk was full of money. Hell, I'd even drive the hybrid....

I think he is on the Mossberg (paid) band wagon now. I remember when they used to run Benelli's a while back, I guess Mossberg forked out more $$$ and that the are American. Kinda makes me laugh though, as it reminds me of the whole Jim Shockey deal where he did most of his grand slam with a Knight muzzleloader then jumped ship and was preaching how much better the TC were and how he could not have done it without his TC. I guess money talks.
