I had some time last Saturday, so made a desktop photo for my computer. This old sixgun, according to a letter received from Roy Jinks, was shipped in 1880 in the same configuration it still has today (6" barrel, etc.) It is a New Model #3. I've put over 150 handloads through her and she works just fine.

Nice! Not bad at all for an american made revolver.(just kidding) Those grips are fantastic. Is the bore as good as the exterior.
 
David, the bore has strong, sharp rifling throughout and is mostly bright and shiny, with a couple small dull patches, but nothing that would affect accuracy.
 
Your lucky to have that one, I like the ergonomics of those SWs. By the way nice photo. When spring comes I plan on dropping a webley in a dinner plate size grizzly track for similiar artistic effect. Or even better putting a revolver in a big pile of bear crap with a scrap of fabric.LOL.

Thats a great idea! about the bear track that is.
Not to sure about your other idea tho! LOL
 
Wheres your other picture ?? The one with the gun outside with the gun belt and leaves ect.
I liked that one best!
 
I'm always happy to post that photo, Dingus. It is of the same sixgun (my entire collection of antique pistols amounts to only 1). Here's a few more photos of my old six shooter. Lucky thing I only have one antique pistol or I'd be wearing out my camera!

My camra sucks its a Busnell Crapholea Water proof one.
I got my Used Holster to match my Six gun hogleg belt and my S&W belt Buckle came today so i got it put on my sixgun rig.

The Holster is a Hunter and fits my Antique WG 1885 perfect. Had to loosen a few stitches at the trigger gaurd but man it fits EX
Fast draw and comfortable.
That WG shoots 45 long colts and i can shoot 2 inch groups at 25 yds
Love that S&W belt buckle to its worn so it suites my Gun belt perfect to Pics are to bright to see the guy with a six gun fighting a griz :)
