PhotoBucket troubles?

[Why not?]

Is it just my computer, or is PB having a lot of trouble lately?

Takes ages to open, is filled with adverting, and next ti impossible to upload pictures.

Perhaps it's their way to get one to go "Ad Free for $.99/ month.

Photobucket has caved in to mass directed advertising and they want to charge you now to avoid the ads... I hate photobucket... it would be a massive job to transfer my images to another host.

I just listed two ads on the EE yesterday with lots pics each. No problems at all or before that.

Agree totally. Hate it now, but don't want to transfer the pictures I have there.

I've just recently started using Facebook to host my photos. Just keep albums private so only I can view them. It's far easier to upload onto Facebook.

Photobucket was getting painful, and it always insists on rotating my pictures to landscape view, even if I didn't want it to. Had enough....

thank god, i thought it was just me, every two seconds another full page pop up, photos flipping over, not linking properly, and taking forever to load and upload, is there another host service that does the same thing?, ive tried becoming a team member here but constantly got the you are not authorized to view this page pop up..lol

I have not been able to upload an image to Photobucket from my IPad in about a year, I thought it was just me being a computer dinosaur and doing something incorrectly. WK

I have the same issues with Photobucket as everyone else but I did notice that the actual function was very slow however it became even slower after my computer got the forced changeover to Windows 10.
On mine all the functions are slower since Windows 10 installed itself forcefully.

On our next PC we are going to try the Mac system, anyone have thoughts on that, good, bad or otherwise ?

I have Adblock Plus on my laptop. I wonder if that helps. I have had no problems whatsoever and use it a lot.

Try switching to Imgur. I made the change from Photobucket to Imgur and have no regrets. Imgur is easier to use, is faster, and has no advertising.

I switched to Imgur as well, got fed up with photobucket. Still have a few years worth of images sitting on pb if I feel I need them.
