I was wondering if anyone would have a pic of the inside of the synthetic buttstock of the X-Bolt stainless stalker.
I will have to shorten the stock about 1". If I want to keep a thicker recoil pad, I will definitely have to cut the synthetic stock, although I may be able to get away with just taking off that inflex pad and replacing it with a thin pad or buttplate. Just in case I have to actually cut the stock, I'd like to see a pic of the inside of the buttstock so I know what I'm facing. I've been assured that the screw mounts are long enough in there that you could cut off 1/2 - 1" and still have the mounts for a new pad.
