I want to put an Eotech on my 870 but the only mounting solution that i like the looks of is a picatinny rail . I have a Scattergun Tech rear sight so i'm looking for a picatinny rail about 5 inches long . I've seen pics but don't know where to purchase one . I've tried the major Canadian retailers along with Brownells , Numrich , E-Gun parts and a few others with no luck so far . Remington is putting out a line of military shotguns , 870's , with a picatinny and i called them and they won't sell just the rail . The picatinny for the Fabarm shotgun doesn't match the 870 reciever . Anybody know where i can get one that will match the contour of an 870 ?

I've tried Milarm , TSE , Russels , Wholesale Sports and Wolverine . I don't want an offset or a saddle type mount .

I use an Uncle Mikes weaver rail, and get my 870 drilled and tapped. Works great for optics. When I'm not so lazy I'll pull it out and look at the number on the rail. It's perfectly contoured for the 870 receiver.

Yes it is. I wouldn't use anything else. I still don't understand why he stopped, but I paid him an absurd amount of money to fire up his CNC machine and make me another one off :D

There was one of the guys on the site here who was going to make some rails for anawsome price . I was in contact with him but seem to have lost comtact info . If anyone else remembers him I have a short HP9-1 project that needs his help.

Get off yer ass and find me that number LOL, I just removed my 870 side saddle mount and looking at drilling and tapping my 1100 with a reciever mount.

I bought a b square mount from Districorp. It fits right onto the 870 receiver without having to drill holes. It's accurate enough for an eotech on a shotgun.

Except cant use a side saddle.

Yes, the lack of the side saddle would be the one drawback. It's acceptable for me since I'm not crazy about having to drill into my receiver. the Knights RAS would have been nice but they're discontinued.

I even tried to mod a 870 mount to allow me to use both but It stuck out way too much.
