Okay bought my rem 700 yesterday and after travelling to sauga to pick up a short action rail from le barron...It looks like its the wrong rail. The mounting holes line up however it looks like the rail gap for the action is shorter than the action itself... will try and post pics, but anyone have any answers up front before i try and bed the rail? The gap is minimal, if you look at the back side of the action, the rail extends 2mm off the front before the cutout starts, then ends 1.5 - 2 mm before the action does.
