Picatinny mounted flip-up sights for ar15?

I am considering putting AR15 flip-up front and rear sights on my tactical shotgun. I am having BBB (Simon) looking at making a rail for my 870 that extends from the AR15 adaptor to the front of my 12.5" barrel. The rail appears to be Picatinny the entire length. So...

What is the better/best AR15 flip-up sights that will mount on my rail. Flip-up as I will also be mounting optics (Eotech or Aimpoint) for primary work. Thanks guys

I don't think you really need sights on a 12.5" shotgun, a piece of chewing gum stuck to the end of the barrel and the receiver should do.

If you're set on BUIS YHM flip up front and rear will do it efficiently. Inexpensive and work well. However if you are going with a red dot on a scattergun a BUIS is more than redundant.

I find shooting iron plates at 100m a bit difficult with a bead/blade front. The AR 15 stock adaptor leaves the front sight way too low. The Irons are for backup (why? Because I fear the dreaded zombies! :D) This barrel/gun is scary accurate with slugs. Alpha at 100m most of the time. On target all the time.

As for optics, why the Doctor over eotech or aimpoint? I never really looked at Dr. but maybe I should. Stronger? Better target [FONT=&quot]acquisition? Field of view?

I've posted this about 1000 times now, but here we go again. :D

I used a YHM front gas block front flip and an ARMS 40L rear, I know YHM makes a foreend rail mounted front flip as well.
