I want to know what use is the little chunks of picatinny rail to the back of the receiver on the stock SAGE

this is for a rear sight?
support for coffee machine?

or just to look pretty

thank

It's for night vision.

Well hot damn! That is clever.

Except of course that the vast majority of NV monoculars aren't rated for .308 recoil

In fact, the only heavy recoil rated NV I can think of are clip on units that mount in front of your optic.

hi
thank you H2O
I believed I had thought of everything, but not
I forgot it
It is true that I do not use it frequently

What is this tripod machine gun?
he found that the weapon was too light :)

The rear mount was what CRANE came up with quickly, not optimal, but it did work.

The new method is as you described.

SAGE has a few old pictures of the EBR on the heavy tripod.
